The renovation of the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook’s bar and restaurant was inspired by two different parts of the surrounding area. The bar pulls from the region’s mobster past, with warm wood tones, brass accents, tailored furnishings, and historic references that bring some of that history into the space in a more modern way.

The restaurant takes its inspiration from the nearby Des Plaines River, bringing in natural textures, organic elements, and a softer palette. Together, the two spaces have their own character while still feeling connected as part of the overall hotel.
